Lesser Value- part one wip by ~Al-ua-re:iconAl-ua-re:

The night was cold, the air was crisp with tension and anticipation. The cries of a cat echoed out into the forest, many of the birds dissapeared, peaking their beedy and widened eyes out from the leaves of trees and bushes. A hiss bottled in a male cat's throat, the glimer of worry and stress a blaze in his green eyes. The cats was about 6 years old, his orange tabby coat was ruffed, a dark shade of brown cover his belly, chin, tail, and ears, givin a mudded look to him. The male bit at the inside of his mouth, as the stress aban to take it' tole on him. "I'm, sure everything is fine..." A soft, clear voise made him jump. "Easy for you to say! This could be her last litter at this rate!" The orange male turned, glareing at a black female with white tabby stripes, vivid lime green eyes shimmered violently in the moonlight. But they shown exhuastion and weary suspision. "I'm sure the humans are doing everything they can to save her and the litter, Awian." The black cat replied. "Well, i'm just worried, Anak" Awain mewed, looking down at his paws. He was tierd of depending on humans to do the birthing for them. He'd heard legends of cats, many, many miles away who didn't need anything fom humans. They could take care of themselves. But Awain, and the rest of them did. He found it sad that they had to depend on such filthy creatures.

His heart raced as the yowling stoped, the house grew quiet and the air suddenly felt cold. Awian burst out into the open, raced across the clear ground, the blades of grass felt sharper than ever... he could feel his fur tingle as he climbed up to the window and peared inside. The house was bright, filled with chairs, tables, couches, and a few lamps. In the center of the room, on th soft blue/gray floor, lie a box lined with cloths. Thats where she was. Thats where she always is. "Nalani..." he whispered. Her gray patched fur was ruffeled and her eyes.... that usually sparkled where dull with pain and exhaustion. He saw a ripple in hier stomech... Nalani's mouth parted in another cry that was cut short when she suddenly went limp. "No!" Awian yowled, searching franticly for a way in, clawing, scrathing and even biting on the window. "Anak!" His head wiped around to the black she-cat. "Get me in there!"
